Course Communication and Announcements

This website will serve as the primary syllabus for this course. All course-related announcements, as well as electronic communication between students and the professor, will happen using the course’s dedicated Slack team.

Coding Challenges

There will be weekly coding challenges throughout the semester, which will be started in class. These will be completed in groups of 3 students, and will be submitted via Moodle.


Collaboration and Academic Integrity

The following information is required for all submitted work:

  1. The names of all collaborating students be listed at the top of the submission. Each team is required to submit only once.
  2. A “References” section, with in-line citations to any resources you used. Citations should include page numbers (if a printed resource) or a direct URL (if an online resource). If you did not use any resources in completing the assignment, please state: “I did not utilize any external resources in completing this assignment.

Final Project

There will be one final group project in this course.

Late Policy

Late submissions will be assessed a penalty of 20% per day, and submissions more than 5 days late are ineligible for credit. Extensions must be requested at least 48 hours in advance, or with notification from a student’s class dean.
